MoD 'hides' numbers of wounded, says mother!
Read this Not a surprise!-In 2004 the British Army's ONLY field hospital was located at Shaiba Logistics base,a few miles South West of Basra,I visited a friend from my section who had been wounded by a landmine and the first thing I noticed was EVERY bed was full!-Every day we would be read the contacts and incidents occurring within the British Army's area of operations and hardly a day went by without a British casualty.You don't have to dig too deep to find that the MoD ARE hiding casualty figures-You only need to look at the MoD's Hedley Court Rehabilitation centre and the fact that it is bursting at the seams with wounded,many missing limbs,some multiple,to see the truth.Not to mention the THOUSANDS of cases of PTSD that are coming to the surface and that the MoD has been in denial for for the last decade!-The sacrifice being made by our armed forces is immeasurable and for it to be denied or hidden away by Whitehall and the Government cheapens that sacrifice and insults the memory of our dead and wounded!
