Police call for ban on flag burning
Read this What ever happened to the charge of treason?-Surely burning the national flag of your country,which millions of British citizens have died serving under,is a treasonable act and should be illegle anyway?

Burning our national flag should be classed as treason, and treason still carries the death penalty in this country!
I understand your feelings but you served in the Army, as I did, to safeguard our freedom and that includes letting misguided people burn flags. If we ban flag burning we are becoming like the extremists we are up against. We may disagree with what they say but should defend their right to say it.
I think we get onto dodgy ground with freedom of speach if we make it a crime.
It would be similar to islamic states banning certain types of music.
