90,000 knives handed in during amnesty
Read this What a load of bollocks!-How can they ban knives?Go into any kitchen in the country and you would find enough razor sharp and varied cutting implements that would put a medieval torture chamber to shame!We need knives in our daily lives,it's not the knife that's the problem,It's the attitude of the person who feels he needs to carry one and use one in crime.Having an unbelieveably lenient law for offenders dosen't help either-There should be an automatic jail sentnce of at least two years for anyone caught carrying one and LIFE imprisonment for anyone caught using one to wound or kill,there is no difference in my eyes,It is a cowards weapon and the pain and suffering it causes should be returned two fold to the offender,then,perhaps,the scum who think about carrying and using one might think twice!
