Read this The discovery of this mine highlights the fact that the British Army MUST relace the"Snatch" armoured landrover asap or suffer many more casualties as a result.Having used the snatch myself during my tour in Iraq in 2004,I found it totaly useless for the job-The armour's crap-it wouldn't stop an air rifle!It's top heavy,hard on the brakes,the driver and commander can't see fuck all,the topcover have limited manouverbility due to the pathetically small top hatch,the air-con is almost non-existant,the back doors are a bastard to open and close,the back seats were designed by a sadist,you can't use a gps inside 'cos there's no signal and they won't give us remote antenas,and there are no cigarete lighters!Scrap it and give us armoured personel carriers like the rest of the world use!
